Xtek is currently hiring for the following positions at our Cincinnati headquarters

    • Xtek has multiple opportunities for machinists at our Cincinnati facility. Experience is a plus with very competitive compensation for individuals with demonstrated skills. We also provide a robust training program for our entry-level positions. Xtek has a long history of developing non-machinists who have the desire and ability to learn. Our factory has a wide range of equipment from manual lathes to the most sophisticated digital machining centers.

    • Night Shift – 5:00pm – 1:00am
       
      This position is responsible for the safe set up and welding of industrial parts.  Including, welding metal objects together by means of arc welding apparatus, by hand and/or automatic machine, to fabricate metal shapes, or repair broken, worn or cracked objects.  In this position, you will work with blueprints across several part types ,as well as verbal and written instructions for job completion. Including, working from drawings and weld instructions with AWS weld symbols.
       
      Primary Responsibilities

      • Ensure the parts are set up to perform operation
      • Is certified in accordance to ISO specs
      • Operates welding equipment such as Sub Arc, Mig, and Stick for fit-ups and positioners for joining multiple components
      • Sets up pre-fitted parts for welding using hand tools, clamps, jigs, and fixtures
      • Can work with blueprints for measuring and ensuring stock for machining operations
      • In addition to performing hand welding, works from drawings and weld instructions with AWS weld symbols
      • Sets and maintains furnaces for pre and post-heat of parts
      • Maintain a clean and safe workplace, in accordance with 5S protocol
      • Assists with 5-Why analysis for quality, health, and maintenance situations
      • Perform related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates
