    • Xtek, Inc. in Sharonville, Ohio has an opening for an Accounting Specialist. This position is a Salary Grade 4, reporting to A.J. Schreiver. As a member of the Financial Shared Services team, this position will perform accounting activities with the various business units.

      Primary responsibilities include:

      • Performs accounts payable functions:
        • Keys vendor invoice information into ERP system, matches to purchase orders for payment and conducts payment runs
        • Reviews, verifies and inputs Expense Reports for payment for units assigned
      • Performs invoicing to customers for assigned business units.
        • Applies customer payments to their account in system
        • Follows up on past due customer invoices
        • Obtains customers’ tax exemption certificates
      • Issues proof of insurance certificates as needed
      • Performs other accounting duties as assigned

      The ideal candidate will have:

      • Accounting or bookkeeping experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
      • Proficiency with business systems. Microsoft D365 experience or other large ERP system would be a plus.

    • Responsible for development, implementation, training and administration of company-wide safety and health policies, programs and practices. The position will function as an advisor to management on technical and regulatory issues and act as a consultant for Operations to increase efficiency and secure a safe working environment. Reports to the VP, Administration.

      Job Duties:

      • Lead the organization to effectively implement a comprehensive safety program at all Xtek locations
      • Develop, monitor and update safety regulatory and awareness policies and educational training for company management, supervisors, and employees
      • Responsible for the dissemination of governing safety regulations, appropriate industry “best practices” as well as internal “best practices” to company management, supervisors, and employees to ensure continuous learning and improvement in Safety & Health performance
      • Analyze safety performance, communicate to leadership and Operations the requirements for improving performance including addressing issues, concerns and corrective actions
      • Develop and update annual company safety goals and/or benchmarks to company employees and subcontractors
      • Lead project safety meetings as well as significant safety incident investigations and root cause analysis
      • Develop and implement project specific Emergency Plans including local first response contacts and company contacts
      • Investigate complaints of possible safety violations/deficiencies and take corrective actions on deficiencies
      • Lead new equipment/new process reviews, including process hazard analysis and operator training
      • Monitor and complete all required Safety and OSHA reporting to governmental agencies. Develop and provide safety reports and explain overall safety performance
      • Review all Accident Investigation Reports and complete follow-up investigations as needed. Disseminate findings and implement correct actions
      • Manage compliance audits and internal audits of employee and subcontractor work activities and work with Operations to evaluate status and compliance with safety policies and governing regulations. Where there are gaps, educate, coach and take corrective action to close the gaps. Provide feedback to President and other personnel as needed
      • Conduct annual review and update of existing safety-related policies in Company Policy Manual

      Requirements:

      • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (Safety, Safety & Health, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering) or equivalent combination of education and technical experience
      • 5+ years of progressive Health & Safety experience
      • Experience working with government regulations and a thorough knowledge of federal, state and local government Health & Safety regulations (OSHA, ANSI, DOT, etc.)
      • Good analytical and problem-solving skills including root cause and risk analysis methodologies
      • Demonstrated interpersonal, written/verbal communication and presentation skills
      • Proven leadership and teamwork skills to work collaboratively

      General Summary:
      This position is an entry level position in the heat treat area. The person who fills this position will learn the basics of heat treating while assisting others and performing crane duties.

      Primary Responsibilities:

      • Loads and unloads furnaces while in the cab of the overhead crane.
      • Assists others in preparing product for furnaces which includes:
        • Positioning and loading parts onto furnace fixtures
        • Setting up products with appropriate lifting/handling fixtures
        • Wrapping
        • Painting
        • Protecting products for carburizing, hardening and quenching cycles
      • Any other duties as laid out by Heat Treat Supervisor or Metallurgy Manager

    • Xtek is seeking additional personnel for our growing Field Service business. Ideal candidates will have experience with maintaining and servicing heavy industrial equipment. A background as a millwright, field machinist or welder is a definite plus. The position includes:

      • installing, repairing, removing gearboxes, industrial drive trains and processing lines
      • travel to US-based customer sites (30-50% travel)
      • when traveling, paid per diems plus hourly travel premiums for all regular and overtime work.

      General Summary:
      Operates industrial trucks and overhead cranes/hoists to re-position materials for operations support and logistics functions.  Provide support for the general logistics group including part movement, shipping, receiving, and inventory control.

      Primary Responsibilities:

      • Collects and delivers materials, parts, products for operations support between buildings and departments.
      • Supports operations with bin and scrap movement.
      • Loads and unloads trucks with proper follow up on paperwork and documentation.
      • Complete information in AX and inventory systems for proper tracking of materials.

      Other Responsibilities:

      • Packs finished and wrapped products in containers for shipment. Verify correctness of product from paperwork and in AX.  Enter and retrieve information in AX for packing instructions and final dimensions.
      • Build basic crates and pallets from wood and other materials for part storage and shipment.
      • Maintain equipment used for good operation and safety. Maintain appearance of logistics and production working areas.

      Required Competencies, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

      • Working knowledge of the inventory transaction process in Microsoft Dynamics AX pertaining to movement of parts for the production process
      • Ability to use overhead cranes and hoists. Ability to operate fork trucks.
      • Ability to operate equipment for constructing crates.
