Xtek Europe s.r.o. in Plzen, Czech Republic
In September of 2007, Xtek, Inc. opened Xtek Europe, a manufacturing subsidiary located in Plzen, Czech Republic. The newly constructed 1000 sq. meter facility is fully equipped and staffed, producing a full range of wheel products, including crane wheels, crane wheel assemblies, tyres, guide rollers and sheave wheels, with the same metallurgical characteristics as those products manufactured at Xtek headquarters. Xtek Europe is centrally located to serve the European industrial overhead crane and mobile equipment applications.
Xtek Europe’s opening is part of a business growth strategy to locate manufacturing operations outside of the United States, with the long term expansion objective being to offer the same reconditioning services enjoyed by US customers, related to the manufacturing and repair of crane equipment and power transmission components in rolling mills.
