We are currently seeking candidates for a Sales Engineer for the Pittsburgh, PA region. This position will require the qualified candidate to live in the Pittsburgh area.
The Sales Engineer will be responsible for growing sales and developing lasting relationships with our customer base.
Initial duties will include the following:
- Achieve bookings goals for the specific territory.
- Generate interest and inquiries in Xtek products.
- Act as a technical resource for Xtek products to the customer.
- Serve as a liaison between the customer and Xtek.
- Assist with forecasting and market reviews.

We have immediate openings for Machinist on our night shift (6:00pm to 2:00am).

These are hourly positions reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor.
As a Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating various machines to meet goals and objectives. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to producing accurate work in a safe and efficient manner.
Initial duties will include the following:
- Set up and operate CNC machinery, including lathes, mills, and VTLs, based on production requirements.
- Interpret and read blueprints, drawings, and technical documentation to determine appropriate machine settings and techniques.
- Perform quality checks using precision measurement tools, ensuring parts meet established tolerances and specifications.
- Conduct basic machine maintenance, ensuring all equipment is in optimal working order.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and adjust machines as necessary to improve performance and accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with safety and quality standards.
Best qualified candidates will have:
- Strong mechanical skills, including an understanding of machine functions, parts, and basic maintenance, with a natural inclination toward hands-on work.
- Ability to learn and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions accurately to ensure parts meet specifications.

This position is responsible for the welding, fitting, fabrication processes associated with basic Bushman Equipment products. This person needs to have all of the same skills
required for a Welder 4 position, but can also work through the fabrication of basic
Bushman products on their own.Duties and Responsibilities:

- Proficient in non-technical Bushman products (for example: Tongs, Spreader

Xtek is seeking an experienced Buyer to support purchasing activities for our manufacturing and production-support operations. This position manages the complete purchasing cycle for raw materials, manufactured components, maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) supplies, subcontracted services, and other operational needs.
The Buyer will work closely with suppliers and internal departments to maintain material availability, competitive pricing, quality, and on-time delivery. This role primarily supports Xtek and Xtek Precision
Maintenance operations, with additional support provided to other locations as needed.Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete purchase-order cycle for assigned materials, commodities, and services, including obtaining quotations, creating and transmitting purchase orders, and confirming supplier commitments.
- Work with engineering and marketing to obtain pricing information during the product design and quotation processes.
- Monitor open purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure delivery, quality, and pricing commitments are met.
- Expedite orders when necessary to support production schedules and operational requirements.
- Manage assigned purchasing programs that support manufacturing and facility operations.
- Serve as the primary supplier contact when quality issues arise with purchased products or services.
- Coordinate the resolution of supplier-related issues, including corrective work, replacement materials, credits, and other appropriate compensation.
- Act as a liaison between suppliers, engineering, production, and other internal departments when changes or problems arise.
- Review supplier performance metrics and help maintain required levels of quality, delivery, service, and pricing.
- Identify and develop new or alternate sources of supply to support current and future business needs.
- Support projects designed to maintain appropriate inventory levels for production and operational requirements.
- Maintain purchasing records and documentation in accordance with internal procedures and quality-management requirements.
- Support inventory management activities for purchased materials and supplies.
- Provide coverage and assistance for other procurement functions as workload requires.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, supply chain management, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience will also be considered.
- Three or more years of purchasing or procurement experience preferred.
- Experience working with ERP or MRP systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills when working with suppliers and internal teams.
- Strong negotiation and supplier-management skills.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Basic understanding of applicable industry standards.
- Familiarity with common steel grades, product forms, and basic metallurgical properties is preferred.
