Track Wheels

Xtek has applied the experience from manufacturing Crane Wheels into a multitude of Track Wheel applications. From industrial applications to entertainment venues, Xtek specially designed and heat treated Track Wheels provide our customers with reduced maintenance, improved rail life and significantly higher load carrying capability.

Xtek Track Wheels are manufactured from fine grain, fully kilned, vacuum degassed forged medium carbon steel. They are heat treated using our in-house processes to provide a uniform contour hardness on the wear surfaces, while maintaining a ductile core to resist shock loads. Xtek Track Wheels are resistant to flange fracture or wear and are designed to resist pitting and spalling in the tread.

Applications include circular tracks (antennae, tower cranes, ladle turrets), stadium roofs, cable cars, cab rollers, trunnion rollers, tyres and guide rollers.
