Xtek Europe

Xtek Europe, s.r.o. opened in September 2007 as a manufacturing facility located in Plzen, Czech Republic. In addition to Plzen being an ideal area for material sourcing and access to a skilled labor market, it is also centrally located within Europe for efficient transportation to customers in Western and Central Europe.

The initial manufacturing scope includes Crane Wheels, Guide Rollers and Crane Wheel Assemblies. The Xtek Europe operation contains full machining and heat treating capability to produce a TS6 Crane Wheel with the same metallurgical characteristics as those wheels manufactured at our headquarters. The TS6 Crane Wheel is acknowledged by customers around the world as the premier wheel product for overhead crane and industrial rail applications. All Crane Wheels are manufactured and engineered to order. A wide range of wheel sizes are available to serve the European Market, using forgings made from vacuum degassed steel.

As part of a business growth strategy to locate manufacturing operations outside of the United States, the long term expansion objective for Xtek Europe is to offer the same reconditioning services enjoyed by US customers, related to the repair of crane wheel assemblies, gear drives and geared spindle coupling assemblies.
